The 52nd Ura-Bandai Fire Mountain Festival
Enjoy the fireworks launched from Lake Hibara
An event to commemorate those who lost their lives due to the eruption of Mount Bandai about 130 years ago. On the day of the event, there will be many food stalls, bon odori (traditional dance), and various local traditional arts and performances. The event will culminate with fireworks launched from the lake. Let’s head out to the traditional Ura-Bandai Fire Mountain Festival.
Lake Hibara First Parking Lot
About 25 minutes via National Route 115 and National Route 459 from Inawashiro Bandai Kogen IC on the Ban'etsu Expressway
Take the Aizu Bus bound for Ura-Bandai from Inawashiro Station on the JR Ban'etsu West Line, and get off at Ura-Bandai Kogen Station (bus stop)
