This is said to be the place where drums were sounded from the lookout of Gassan Tomita Castle to boost the morale of the warriors. Now known as a cherry blossom viewing spot, the cherry blossoms that bloom around the statue of Yamanaka Shikanosuke are beautifully enchanting. Located at the foot of Gassan, the refreshing route to the summit is also popular as a hiking course.
