This exhibit looks back at the work of the promising Japanese painter Masato Nishida, born in Kobe, and introduces various works related to the Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake. This exhibition, marking 30 years since the earthquake, will be an opportunity to feel the 'prayers for rebirth' that the artist has imbued into each of his works depicting the earthquake, England, and Ichinomiya.
