Symbol Exhibition 'Kofu Air Raid'

This year marks the 80th anniversary of the end of the war that brought about much devastation. The largest damage in Yamanashi during that time was caused by the Kofu air raid that occurred from the night of July 6, 1945, to the early morning of the following day. This exhibition presents various materials related to that air raid, providing an opportunity for many to reflect on how the people of Yamanashi faced and thought about the war and air raids at that time.

From JR Isawa Onsen Station, take the Fujikyu Bus bound for Mount Fuji Station / Uguisu-yado (about 10 minutes), get off at 'Yamanashi Prefectural Museum,' and walk for about 3 minutes
