Tomiura Loquat Club Roadside Station - Loquat Picking

The season for the fruit known as the 'Lady of Early Summer,' Bōsō loquat, has arrived at the Tomiura Loquat Club roadside station. Minamiboso is one of Japan's two major loquat-producing areas, with Toimira Town being the representative production area. Experience the highest quality fruit that has been offered to the Emperor and Empress for over 100 years since 1909. Reservations can be made on a first-come, first-served basis starting from 5:30 PM the day before for the following day's slots only. Loquats do not ripen after being picked. The most delicious fruit is the one that is fully ripe on the tree and picked fresh. Why not take this opportunity to taste it?
