Shosanbetsu Cape Festival Star Festival
A big event to heat up summer in Hatsuyama
During the Star Festival (from August 2 afternoon), there will be a PET bottle rocket class launch competition, and free opening of the Shosanbetsu Observatory. On the eve of the cape festival, there will be stalls, a children's rock-paper-scissors tournament, a lottery, and a fireworks display. On the second day of the cape festival, the main event will include stalls, a free beach hot pot, Rumoi Self-Defense Force Senbo Taiko music group, a squid relay, a lottery, a karaoke concert, and a rice cake throwing event.
