Sakura Peak: Shio Sakura no Sato Kofun Park
A park where you can enjoy about 1,000 cherry blossoms of 36 varieties
On a site of approximately 5.6 hectares that includes the designated historic site "Sanna Kaneyama Kofun," you can see six circular tombs built in the late 6th century and about 1,000 cherry blossoms of 36 varieties, providing visitors with a moment of relaxation. In January 2001, "Shio Sakura no Sato Onsen Kofun no Yu" was completed at the park entrance, and it is bustling with many bathers every day.
