The summer tradition of Sendai, woven together by the washi paper decorated on green bamboo and the winds. The colorful Tanabata decorations lining the arcade from Sendai Station are breathtaking. The decorative bamboo stalks create a sea of Tanabata across Sendai City. Additionally, on August 5, the 'Sendai Tanabata Fireworks Festival' will take place as a pre-festival event.
