Somakawa Summer Festival
An event that vows for eternal and unchangeable peace
Lantern floating is conducted as a memorial for the spirits of the war dead and the ancestors of each family. There will also be performances of traditional Japanese taiko drums. Additionally, about 300 fireworks such as early-launch and set fireworks will be launched.
