The "Wisteria" designated as the town flower. Many people visit from both inside and outside the town during the Wisteria Festival. At the main venue, the grounds of Jifukuji Temple, there are trellises of purple and white wisteria. Among these, the purple wisteria is a giant tree over 200 years old, and when in full bloom, the flower clusters can reach 1 meter in length, delighting the eyes of visitors. In addition, nearby Tokuzoji Temple and Dogakuji Temple also have wisteria trellises that can be freely admired.
