[Cherry Blossom Viewing] Kino Ne Shrine

A unique shrine that enshrines the root of an old pine tree that resembles a male organ. It has long been said to bring benefits related to venereal disease and marital harmony, making it famous for never lacking visitors wishing to pray, both from inside and outside the town. Around the shrine, about 40 cherry blossom trees of the Somei Yoshino variety are planted, and there is also a spacious area suitable for spreading out a picnic. It is a well-known cherry blossom viewing spot among those in the know. Nearby, the "Kino Ne Manju" from the local wood root shop is popular for its delicious handmade buns that resemble the sacred object, said to bestow blessings of children.
