Hatono Matsuri Noryo Fireworks Festival 2025
The grand fireworks that enliven traditional events are quite a sight to behold
The 'Hatono Matsuri' takes place over two days to coincide with the annual festival of Kanzaki Shrine in the Akasaki district of Kitaura Town. On the first day, rituals and fireworks will be held at the shrine. The fireworks, launched from Kiku Port near the venue, will feature 3,000 shells. The vibrant lights reflecting off the Akasaki sea will captivate onlookers. ■Note The 'saki' in Kanzaki Shrine is correctly written as 'Tatsusaki'.
