Hiroshima Flower Offering

Expressing gratitude to the spirit of flowers
In 1974, the late Katsuzo Enzuba created the marble symbol of peace, "Spirit of Flowers." Since then, under the "Spirit of Flowers," the Hiroshima Flower Offering has been held every May, co-hosted by five flower-related organizations in Hiroshima. It is an event to express gratitude to the spirit of flowers that have enriched our lives and soothed our hearts, with a ceremony conducted in Shinto style by the chief priest of Hiroshima Gokoku Shrine.
