The 31st Hirakushi Denchu Award Commemorative Exhibition: Rieko Otake - Iru no Koko no

The Hirakushi Denchu Award was founded by Hirakushi Denchu (1872–1979) when he was 100 years old. This award aims to promote the development of the sculpture world and has been awarded to many outstanding sculptors, recognized as a representative sculpture award in Japan. The first solo exhibition by Rieko Otake at the museum consists of approximately 45 selected works from her early works to her latest creations. It introduces Rieko Otake's art while tracing the background of her works. Let's take this opportunity to appreciate the many captivating works. ■ Notes During the exhibition period, discussions and workshops will be held.

The museum is closed on Mondays (if a holiday falls on a Monday, it will be open and closed the following weekday). Admission is until 4:30 PM. *On April 25, the museum will open from 10:30 AM due to the opening ceremony.
