Introducing various types of footwear predominantly from the Sendai region, such as straw sandals and clogs made from plants. The exhibition also highlights the clog craftsmen who were active in Sendai until the late Showa period. Additionally, it touches upon the dissemination of Western shoes after the Meiji era, considering the transition in lifestyle from the feet up.
