One-Yen Train Experience Ride Event (August)

Once, a small train called "Kurogane-go" was operated for the commuting of employees at the Akenobe mine, running slowly along a 70m handmade railway with a clatter. On the day of the event, you can also tour the Akenobe mine exploration tunnel (with a guide's explanation) without reservation. Please note that reservations are required for groups of more than 10 people.

The event will be held on August 3 (Sunday), 10 (Sunday), and 24 (Sunday). You can ride if you complete registration by 3 PM.

Fee

Membership Fee: 300 yen for high school students and above (including the entrance fee for Akenobe One-Yen Train Plaza and a one-yen fare for the train), 1 yen for middle school students and below. Tunnel tour: 1,200 yen for high school students and above, 600 yen for elementary and middle school students.

Park at the site of the former Akenobe Hospital. Please follow the staff's guidance.

About 40 minutes from Kitakinki Toyooka Expressway Yoka Hyonosan IC or Yabu IC.

About 1 hour by All Tan Bus (Akenobe Line) from JR San'in Main Line Yoka Station.
