50th Anniversary Special Exhibition of Minpaku - The Aesthetics of Points and Lines: The Journey of Arabic Calligraphy

Arabic calligraphy is an art that pursues the technique of beautifully writing Arabic letters. Not limited to the Middle East and the Islamic world, people fascinated by calligraphy in Japan and Europe and the United States have been creating works while sincerely facing a thousand-year tradition. This exhibition traces the journey of Arabic calligraphy, which was a 'technique' for designing products that color everyday life, redefined as 'art'.
