Mitsuishi Fishing Port Fireworks Festival
A fireworks festival full of emotion and excitement set in the fishing port
A fireworks festival held as the main event of the summer festival. It started in 1968 by the Youth Division of the Mitsuishi Chamber of Commerce and has become a regular event during Obon. The fireworks launched from Mitsuishi Fishing Port beautifully reflect on the Pacific Ocean and the mountains of the Hidaka Range, captivating spectators. The underwater fireworks, unique to the fishing port, are a specialty. You can also enjoy a beer garden.
