Sailing Ship Kaiōmaru Total Sail Display (May)

The Lady of the Sea Kaiōmaru
The Kaiōmaru is a sailing ship that was born as a training vessel for a merchant marine school. Since being launched on February 14, 1930, it has sailed over 1.06 million nautical miles (approximately 50 times around the Earth) and has nurtured 11,190 young sailors. At Kaiōmaru Park, the Kaiōmaru is opened to the public in its active form, and during the total sail display, which is scheduled 10 times a year, it showcases its elegant appearance.
