Isozaki Shrine Iso Warrior Parade

Children parade in the style of Yamato Takeru.
When Yamato Takeru no Mikoto defeated the evil god of Mount Ibuki, he was injured and became severely ill on his way back to Kyoto. He was buried in Iso, and Isozaki Shrine was built and enshrined as a guardian deity. Inspired by Yamato Takeru, boys began to parade in warrior attire and girls in young child attire. The adorable parade of children is a must-see.
