63rd Okumonobe Lake Water Festival

A brilliant competition of light and sound along the lakeside
One of the three major festivals in Kami City. A festival to console the spirits of the victims of the Nagase Dam construction and pray for abundant harvests. Thousands of lanterns dye the surface of the lake in gold, and the fireworks that color the night sky create a magical atmosphere. Let's be enchanted by the beautiful scenery of the calm lake surface being beautifully colored.
