9th Nagano Lion Dance Festival
Aiming for the inheritance of traditional performing arts for the next generation
74 groups of kagura and lion dance organizations from inside and outside Nagano City will participate. The performance areas include Hanakairō, in front of Monzen Plaza, in front of Ken Shin 2nd Main Store, in front of Kaurakaya Mountain, in front of Old Again (main venue), in front of Seiyu, in front of Sengoku Entrance Bus Stop, and Nagano Station Square. The exciting kagura music and brave lions' co-performance is breathtaking. The numerous performances unfolding on the streets of the city center... Let's go experience the impact of the 'Lion Dance Fest'!
