The Beautiful Weeping Cherry Blossom of Nenjūin
This magnificent tree reaches a height of 7m and has impressive branches. According to the records at Nenjūin, it is said to be over 350 years old. The tree has endured lightning strikes and years of wind and snow, and some parts of its bark keep it alive. The vitality of the blooming flowers captivates visitors. It was designated as a natural monument by the city in 1962.
