A collection of prints by Georges Rouault, a representative painter of 20th century France, featuring "The Circus of Flowing Stars" is on display for the first time in about four years. It expresses not only the glamorous stage of the circus but also the human experiences and sorrows behind it, portraying a deep spirituality through bold, powerful outlines reminiscent of stained glass and rich colors. Additionally, works depicting the circus by Chagall and Seiji Togo are exhibited simultaneously. Enjoy the world of the circus as painted by Rouault, often referred to as the greatest religious painter of the 20th century.
