The summer spectacle of Hachijo Island, the "Hachijo Island Summer Fireworks Festival." A dazzling display of 650 colorful fireworks illuminates the night sky, enveloping the surroundings in a fantastic atmosphere. Highlights include star mines, 10-inch shells, and message fireworks. Stalls and a stage will be set up, and a pre-festival event will be held. Let’s enjoy the grand blossoms blooming in the night sky, embraced by the nature of Hachijo Island!

Pre-festival on 8/10 (Sun) from 16:30, stall operations & stage performances start until 21:00. Fireworks festival on 8/11 (Mon) starts stalls at 16:30, stage performances at 18:00, fireworks begin at 20:11, and will end at 20:50 (tentative), with the festival concluding at 21:30. A free shuttle bus (from Sakakami area to Ogasawara area to Sokodo) is available by reservation.
