Tamai Shrine Summer Festival (Ring Passing)

This festival allows participants to pass through the oldest ring in Okayama, transferring bad influences to a doll, thus purging sins and impurities accumulated over the past six months. It is a prayer for a safe and healthy remainder of the year.

The summer festival is on July 30. The ring passing event is from July 23 to August 6. On July 30, it is from 9 AM to 9 PM. On other dates, it is from 9 AM to 4 PM.
