Daifukuda Temple Kwan-na Shoten Festival (August)

Increase your wealth at the spiritually potent Kuwana Shoten
Daifukuda Temple, known locally as Kwan-na's Shoten-san. Shoten-san is revered as the 'God of Wealth' in India, known as Ganesha, who brings benefits in this world. By rubbing the 'Fukubukuro' placed before the three-faced Daikokuten enshrined in the Shoten Hall, one receives blessings for good health. Various stalls selling Mitarashi dumplings, dried goods, and Koyamaki line the grounds. There is also a limited edition gold goshuin available. On a limited basis, the matchmaking Kannon will be specially unveiled on one day. ■Notes A smaller event is held on the 16th of every month, but there are no stalls or issuance of the gold goshuin.
