Narita-san Heiwa Da-tō Festival Offering Grand Dance

Elegant dance by approximately 500 women
"The Narita-san Heiwa Da-tō Festival Offering Grand Dance" began in 1984 to commemorate the completion of the "Narita-san Heiwa Da-tō," established to pray for world peace and the happiness of all people, during the 1150th anniversary of the death of Kobo Daishi. Women from the former seven towns of Narita, totaling about 500, perform dance offerings along the Omotesando from in front of JR Narita Station to in front of Narita-san Shinsho-ji Temple and the Peace Da-tō.
