White Snake Princess Festival
A major event in Shakuyou Town held at Lake Shinobicho during the night
A festival based on the 'White Snake Princess Story' created from Ainu legends. Local preservation groups display a magnificent 'White Snake Princess Dance' featuring a 13m and 8m parent and child snake, as well as Ainu traditional rituals and ancient dances performed by the Obihiro Kamuaitou Upopo Preservation Society. *Please prepare rain gear as weather can change rapidly.
