Ukai Backyard Tour

Conducted in two courses: boat building area and workshop. Visit the boat building area or workshop and the ukai master's house on foot. After that, enjoy Tea Time at the cafe 'NAGARAGAWA TERRACE 1040' in the Nagaragawa Ukai Museum, followed by viewing the exhibition room. Capacity is 20 people. Reservations can be made through the application form on the museum's website. A special plan where you can see the ukai off-season scene unique to the ukai museum. It's also nice to hear stories from the ukai masters and boatmen up close!

Held 12 times on 11/4, 12/26-27, 1/6-13, 2/11-24, and 3/20-21-24-27-28. 13:30 Departure from the museum → Ukai boat building area or workshop (20 minutes) → Visit to the ukai master's house and explanation of ukai (30 minutes) → Tea Time at the cafe on the 2nd floor of the museum → After visiting the exhibition room, free dispersal (around 16:00). Reservations required at least 3 days in advance of the event date.
