73rd Special Exhibition: New Discoveries! Kagoshima's Archaeological Sites 2025 - Excavation Report Exhibition -

Delivering hot information about historic sites in Kagoshima
In 2024, we will introduce the latest findings focusing on notable archaeological sites from excavations and reports conducted within the prefecture, including a shogi board excavated from the ruins of Kagoshima Castle's Ninomaru and the toilet structures from the Suwanomae ruins in Akune City. A special exhibition lecture will be held on September 6 (Saturday) and October 4 (Saturday) at the multipurpose room of the Uenohara Jomon Forest Exhibition Hall. Each session has a capacity of about 50 people. Pre-registration required.
