The Setouchi Triennale is Japan's largest art festival, held every three years on the beautiful islands of the Seto Inland Sea in Kagawa and Okayama Prefectures. It takes place across various venues including the islands, notable for being the 'sacred place of contemporary art' such as Naoshima, as well as Takamatsu Port and Uno Port, divided into three seasons: spring, summer, and autumn. The summer session features seven islands and two ports, with the Shido-Tsuda area and Higashikata area as stages. Visitors can travel by boat around the islands dotted with nature-harmonized artworks and experience the scenery, history, culture, and lifestyle of the islands through art.
