Yataka Suwa Shrine Autumn Festival
A festival with large and small portable shrines, and spectacular fireworks
Each of the 7 districts of the parishioners carries portable shrines (mikoshi) to the shrine for dedication. The ceremonial fireworks display includes 12 star mines and a spectacular centerpiece of 1200 shots of type 5 shells. Afterward, a combined offering of the Great Three Kingdoms will be performed in front of the shrine hall.
