The Iwate Museum of Contemporary Art displays its collection while changing exhibitions four times a year. In phases 3 and 4, works that were damaged in the Great East Japan Earthquake and later restored from the Rikuzentakata City Museum collection are featured. These works have been stored in the museum for a long time and have been introduced several times in collection exhibitions in the past. This time, all works are set to be returned to Rikuzentakata City, making this the last exhibition of the works at the museum. Phase 4 focuses on major works by Saburo Hatakeyama, Koichi Hatakeyama, and Masayoshi Yukigi.
