Joshibi University of Art 125th Anniversary Exhibition: Joshibi and France—Another History of Japan-France Exchange

An exhibition commemorating the 125th anniversary of Joshibi University of Art. Selected works of graduates who were inspired by France from the collection of the university's art museum and the mutual cooperation agreement museum, the Nirazaki Omura Art Museum, will be introduced. Since its establishment, Joshibi has produced many female artists in connection with France, known as the country of arts. Let's enjoy a fresh aspect of Japan-France cultural exchange woven by 27 Joshibi graduates who studied in France from before the war to modern times.
