Cherry blossoms adorn the famous castle of Tokai, Kakegawa Castle
Every spring, many cherry blossoms bloom extravagantly in Kakegawa Castle Park. The cherry blossoms near the main gate are particularly magnificent, making it an excellent spot for commemorative photos with the castle tower in the background. The cherry blossoms in front of the palace, at the entrance to Take-no-Maru, at the Dai Nippon Hotoku Society, and at the Ninomaru Art Museum and Ninomaru Tea Room are also stunning. Additionally, the 'Kakegawa Cherry Blossoms', which bloom slightly later than Kawazu cherry blossoms, can be seen along the river flowing nearby.
