Enshu Yamanashi Gion Festival
A festival held in summer, featuring splendid and extravagant floats
The energetic orchestras, splendid floats, and solemn religious ceremonies, along with the charming streets and the unity of the floats, are exceptional. During the festival period, there will be a procession of floats, and the Tengu will walk around striking heads with a Nanten stick to wish for good health, as well as the procession and return of the portable shrine.
