There will be special exhibitions of the ghost squid, UV-light glowing plants, and salamanders living in streams that are usually not open to the public. Additionally, there will be illumination in the courtyard and special menu offerings at the illustrated book cafe. ■Notes During the Night Museum event, an admission fee is required for exhibition rooms 1 and 2 as well as when using the illustrated book cafe. The kids' room cannot be used.

5 minutes from the Tomei Expressway Nihondaira Kunozan Smart IC / 15 minutes from the Tomei Expressway Shizuoka IC / 20 minutes from JR Shizuoka Station.

From bus stop 8 at the north exit of JR Shizuoka Station, take the Miwa Otani Line bound for 'Higashi Otani' and walk about 20 minutes from 'Isho' bus stop.

The event will be held on 8/2, 8/9, 8/16, and 8/23. The museum will temporarily close at 17:30 and reopen at 18:30 (with a replacement system). The final entry is at 20:30.

Admission is possible with a permanent exhibition ticket (300 yen for general, 200 yen per person for groups, and free for those under university age, over 70, holders of disability certificates, and one accompanying person).
