Michikouchi Jitsutoku will celebrate his 140th birthday on May 12, 2025. This exhibition will re-examine the person of "Michikouchi Jitsutoku," who left numerous works and achievements during his 90-year life, through various "portraits of Jitsutoku." These include impressions and character portrayals written by literary figures such as the Shinkankakuha, Natsume Soseki, and Ryunosuke Akutagawa, portraits expressed in paintings and sculptures by artists like Ryuusei Kishida and Hiroatsu Takada, portraits taken by photographers including Tadahiko Hayashi, and the view of him as a father from his wife and daughter.
