Sumiyoshi Taisha National Kyudo Tournament
A chance to see the skills of Kyudo up close
The national tournament for distant archery will be held. Distant archery is an event where participants aim their arrows at a target (the large target) with a diameter of 100 cm, located 60 meters away outdoors. Generally, the archery classes held are for close range, but at Sumiyoshi, a distant archery tournament is conducted. For those who practice Kyudo, this tournament is a significant goal.

Approximately 10 minutes from the "Tamade" exit of the Hanshin Expressway No. 15 Sakai Line / approximately 20 minutes from the "Ohama" exit of the Hanshin Expressway No. 4 Bypass.
Approximately 3 minutes on foot from Sumiyoshi Taisha Station on the Nankai Main Line / approximately 5 minutes on foot from Sumiyoshi Higashi Station on the Nankai Takao Line / immediately near Sumiyoshi Torii Mae Station on the Hankai Line.
