Higashiyama Rhododendron Festival
Enjoy the peonies that color the entire slope
The Higashiyama Rhododendron Garden is located within the Forest Station Haga, featuring 1,300 plants of 50 species of rhododendrons blooming in stunning red, white, and pink flowers across the mountain slope. The "Higashiyama Rhododendron Festival" is held to coincide with the blooming season, featuring various events including the main event, the rhododendron viewing.
