The weeping cherry blossom that spreads widely along the approach to Mitani Jinja has a trunk circumference of 2.47m, a height of 12.5m, and a branch spread of 18.2m east-west and 20.2m north-south. It is estimated to be 280 years old, yet its vigor is very good, with no signs of dead branches. From the three main branches, thin branches droop down, and at full bloom, it beautifully produces delicate flowers.
