Fireworks in Amatsu Kominato 2025

Amatsu Kominato, a historic town symbolized by the famous Daizōji Temple. During the period, if the weather is good, fireworks can be seen every night for 17 consecutive days. Approximately 150 fireworks per day illuminate the fishing port in a picturesque manner. One of the attractions is being able to enjoy fireworks along with 1,300 bamboo lanterns and bamboo lights at the 'Daizōji Temple grounds', the birthplace of Nichiren Saint. It is also recommended to relax and enjoy the fireworks from comfortable hotels and inns.
