Vivid autumn leaves coloring the breathtaking scenery

Murodou-daira

Mid-Sep~Early Oct

Murodou, located at the highest point of the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, is the busiest place as a base for sightseeing and mountain climbing. From Murodou-daira, you can view the Tateyama Three Mountains, as well as Mt. Tsurugi and the Dainichi Mountain Range, all of which are over 3,000 meters tall. Additionally, there are many walking spots such as Mikuri-ga-ike and Raichouzawa. The special natural monument, the rock ptarmigan, also inhabits this area. From mid-September to early October, the nanakamado and the minekaede turn red and orange, vividly coloring the dynamic scenery.
