Beniyamazakura blooming along the Jukai Line
Beniyamazakura, also known as Ooyamazakura, is characterized by its darker flower color compared to Somei Yoshino. There are over 400 Beniyamazakura trees planted along the Jukai Line (Prefectural Road No. 2 Odate Towada Lake Line), and during the cherry blossom season, they provide a visual delight for tourists traveling to and from Lake Towada. Enjoy the view from the car window!
