The 77th Taku Yamakasa

A historic summer festival celebrating its 77th year
The annual Taku Yamakasa Festival will be held again this year. Float carts and lantern carts will parade around Taku Station for about 1 km. Numerous food stalls will line the streets, creating a festive atmosphere. On the final day of the festival (16th), a fireworks display will be held, blooming large flowers in the night sky.

- The operation of the lantern and doll floats is scheduled for the 15th from 19:00 to 21:00 and on the 16th from 18:30 to 20:45. The fireworks are planned for around 21:00 on the 16th for about 30 minutes, but may be rescheduled to 20:00 on the 17th in case of rain or severe weather.
