Wagorei Festival - Uwajima Ushi-Oni Festival

The largest festival in Uwajima City, held over three days. Starting with the fireworks display on the 22nd, the Gaiya Carnival and Uwajima Dance Competition will take place. On the 24th, a parade featuring the festival's main attraction, the "Ushi-Oni," will occur, with dozens of Ushi-Oni marching through the city. Also, as a finale for the Wagorei Festival, there will be a "hashirikomi" where participants compete to snatch offerings. Each day features numerous events that make for a captivating festival.
