The Poems of Misuzu Kaneko: Over 100 Years in Time

Misuzu Kaneko, known for her works such as "Tai Ryo" and "Watashi to Kotori to Suzu to," is a children's song poet. Her works, sung in the universally understandable language of nursery rhymes, continue to shine across the 100 years since she lived in the Taisho era and continue to captivate us today. This exhibition will unravel the world of nursery rhymes that Misuzu poured her passion into, using her manuscript notebooks and materials from that time, while also showcasing the charm of her works through original drawings of her nursery rhymes and picture books.
