The Ryukyu Family Registry: The Lives of the Samurai Who Served the Kings

To commemorate the recommendation to designate the Ryukyu Family Registry and related documents housed at the Naha City Museum of History as important cultural properties, a special exhibition is being held. All materials slated for designation will be displayed, introducing the lives of the samurai who served the Ryukyu kings while unraveling the Ryukyu Family Registry. A related symposium will also be held on 7/26 at the Okinawa Prefectural Library 3rd Floor Hall. *This exhibition will have some changes in displays during the exhibition period.
