22nd Deliciousness First "Shirako Onion" Festival

Spring Event "Shirako Onion" Festival will be held again this year
Due to the mineral-rich soil, the Shirako onions grow thick and sweet, resembling fruits. There will be direct sales of Shirako onions, local specialties, various mock stalls, and demonstrations by different groups. While the "onion picking experience" that typically takes place on the event day will not be held, from May 1 (Thursday) to May 31 (Saturday), visitors can experience "onion hunting" at the farms in Shirako.
